August-Septembr 2013 ATC swap theme

Hi Everyone

The criteria for this swap is:

Your initial

Feel free to interpret this criteria anyway you like but make sure your ATC contains a colour, technique or supply that begins with your  firstname OR surname's first initial.  For example as my name is Angela, I could use the colour Aqua, an Antiquing technique or Alcohol ink supply on my ATC etc.   You only need one item that represents your first initial - you don't have to include all three - if you want an extra challenge you could try for all three. ;)
If you need some techniques inspiration, Splitcoaststampers has a terrific resources section which you may find useful.
  1. Australian papercrafters are encouraged to participate in this ATC swap.
  2. If you commit to this swap please, out of consideration for all participants meet the set deadlines.
  3. To participate, write a comment to add your name to the list of participants below and I will email you my address details.
  4. Post your ATCs and a stamped self addressed envelope to me by the posting deadline (see 7. below). I recommend that you put your ATCs into a plastic bag to protect them from bad weather.

    Deadline dates:
  5. Registration list for this swap opens Sunday 21 July and closes Saturday 3 August.
  6. To register to participate, please leave a comment before the closing date. I will then confirm the number of ATCs needed to be made for the current swap.
  7. Swaps must be in the mail to me by no later than Friday 13 September (as mail can take a business week to arrive to me, depending upon where you are located and I should receive them all by Friday 20 September at the latest).
  8. I will post swaps received on Mondy 23 September at the latest so you should all receive your ATCs before the end of the month.
I do hope you will participate - any questions feel free to leave a comment.

What's an ATC?

An ATC is the acronym for Artist Trading Card.
For anyone new to ATCs, it's a small piece of original work that measures 2.5" x 3.5". There is no right or wrong way to create an ATC - you just need to stick to the measurements and the rest is up to your imagination.

  1. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet - but I'll be participating :)

  2. Sounds like fun... count me in.

  3. Me too Angela :)

Good to see that you are able to join in A-M. How did the move go? Well I hope!

  4. Michele, we have not moved yet.... that is still to come. We are busy getting our house ready to be valued and then we go and see what our money will buy before we put it on the market. Which will not be until late October after our holiday at Brunswick Heads when we will check out real estate in the different surrounding towns.

    1. Oh...sorry A-M, the way time flies I thought you would have been there by now LOL!! So the busiest times are still to come for you. :)

  5. Count me in. I have my thinking cap on!

    1. Welcome to our group Letisha. :)

I've emailed details to you and hope you enjoy participating in our swaps.

  10. Just a quick question- Do people generally make all their ATCs for the swap the same or all different?
    Thanks :)

  11. We've generally made them all the same (you can get a production line going that way which makes things a bit quicker) - but sometimes there have been variations on a theme. If you want to vary them, that's fine - we don't have any strict rules other than the size of the ATC which must be 2.5" x 3.5", so feel free to be creative. :)

  12. glad you could join in Letisha & Mazz :)
