  4. I just made a trip to the post office with my ATCs. This one was challenging for me - not because my Covid experience has been bad, but because I couldn't settle on one thing that 'Covid Times' meant to me and most of the things that have happened to me in the last 18 months have been good! I don't know whether it's because I'm an only child and used to amusing myself or just because I'm pretty reclusive anyway, but lockdowns haven't really bothered me much (one 2 week quarantine because of being a close contact in Woolies was a bit more challenging, but still not unbearable!). I can still get outside to exercise with one of my friends or my hubby every day and yesterday my walking buddy was my son - we found a place where our 5km & LGA limits intersected :) Even though my daughter and granddaughters are far away in London I am grateful that it's not the same as it was 30 years ago and now digital photos, face time, skype etc. let us keep in touch so much more easily than film, snail mail and brief (expensive!!) telephone conversations ever did when I was living overseas back then. Over there where Covid is much scarier, they have all been safe and well. I've painted more, crafted more, lost weight (21kgs so far :D) and improved my health, spent time with my husband, gained two kittens and stayed away from Covid. I also have another grandchild due in a month :) I'm actually rather grateful for the good things that have happened in these strange times. Weird how things turn out isn't it? Sorry for the rant!! LOL!

  5. Hey Michele it sounds as though you are on top of and coping with these tough times. We have been very lucky in SA but with 5 truck drivers travelling through the state we are keeping our fingers crossed. I have been lucky to get to QLD for a holiday but I am keeping a close eye on border restrictions. Stay safe and well :)

  6. Hi Ladies. I arrived back from Queensland last night to find all your ATC Covid swap cards waiting for me. I hope you will all be happy with them when you receive them - they are fabulous :) I will be posting them out tomorrow. Can you believe the next swap will be our last swap for 2021
