Oct-Nov 2013 ATC Swap Theme

***THIS SWAP IS NOW CLOSED***

Hi Everyone

The criteria for this swap is:

Black Magic

Feel free to interpret this criteria anyway you like but make sure your ATC is predominantly  black with a touch of orange colour too.  If you celebrate Halloween, then this is the ideal colour combo for you.  Alternatively, there are many masking and resist techniques which use black as the background base to make other colours pop.  Black chalkboard is also a popular supply at the moment too.  Note: this does not need to be a Halloween themed ATC, it can be any theme so long as it's predominantly black, has something orange and can include other colours too.
If you need some techniques inspiration, Splitcoaststampers has a terrific resources section which you may find useful. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/
Guidelines:
  1. Australian papercrafters are encouraged to participate in this ATC swap.
  2. If you commit to this swap please, out of consideration for all participants meet the set deadlines.
  3. To participate, write a comment to add your name to the list of participants below and I will email you my address details.
  4. Post your ATCs and a stamped self addressed envelope to me by the posting deadline (see 7. below). I recommend that you put your ATCs into a plastic bag to protect them from bad weather.

    Deadline dates:
  5. Registration list for this swap opens Sunday 15 September and closes Tuesday 1 October.
  6. To register to participate, please leave a comment before the closing date. I will then confirm the number of ATCs needed to be made for the current swap.
  7. Swaps must be in the mail to me by no later than Friday 15 Novemer (as mail can take a business week to arrive to me, depending upon where you are located and I should receive them all by Friday 22 November at the latest).
  8. I will post swaps received on Mondy 25 November at the latest so you should all receive your ATCs before the end of the month.
I do hope you will participate - any questions feel free to leave a comment.

What's an ATC?

An ATC is the acronym for Artist Trading Card.
For anyone new to ATCs, it's a small piece of original work that measures 2.5" x 3.5". There is no right or wrong way to create an ATC - you just need to stick to the measurements and the rest is up to your imagination.

August-September 2013 'Your Initial' ATCs

Here is the group's August-September 2013 'Your Initial' themed ATCs.

All fabulous and so very different - but all met the criteria of including either a technique, colour or theme based on the participant's initial.

August-Septembr 2013 ATC swap theme

***THIS SWAP IS NOW CLOSED***

Hi Everyone

The criteria for this swap is:

Your initial

Feel free to interpret this criteria anyway you like but make sure your ATC contains a colour, technique or supply that begins with your  firstname OR surname's first initial.  For example as my name is Angela, I could use the colour Aqua, an Antiquing technique or Alcohol ink supply on my ATC etc.   You only need one item that represents your first initial - you don't have to include all three - if you want an extra challenge you could try for all three. ;)

June-July 2013 ATC swap theme

***THIS SWAP IS NOW CLOSED***

Hi Everyone

I was looking out the window today at the eastern rosella birds in the trees and decided that the criteria for this swap would be:

I can see clearly now.....(aka acetate/transparency)

Feel free to interpret this criteria anyway you like but make sure your ATC contains a piece of transparency or acetate or any other clear plastic item you might have.  Transparencies are flexible and may come preprinted or alternatively you can use all sorts of techniques on them such as painting, stamping, alcohol inking, die cutting, dry embossing, punching etc.  You can recycle any clear plastic items you have to add to your ATC, you don't have to purchase a branded transparency for this swap.
Guidelines:

  5. Registration list for this swap opens Friday 24 May and closes Saturday 1 June.
  6. To register to participate, please leave a comment before the closing date. I will then confirm the number of ATCs needed to be made for the current swap.
  7. Swaps must be in the mail to me by no later than Friday 19 July (as mail can take a business week to arrive to me, depending upon where you are located and I should receive them all by Friday 26 July at the latest).
  8. I will post swaps received on Monday 29 July at the latest so you should all receive your ATCs before the end of the month.

I do hope you will participate - any questions feel free to leave a comment.
